Julie graduated from Loyala University in 1989 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked as a pediatric nurse for Hospital Shared Services, The Medical Center of Aurora and most recently The Children's Hospital in Denver in Oncology, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. In 2002 Julie went back to school to The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center to earn her Master of Science in Nursing / Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program graduating in 2006.
Julie joined the provider staff at Peak Pediatrics in 2006 primarily seeing patients at our Winter Park office.
Julie has been successful in writing several grants for Grand County Public Health Nursing and Grand Futures Prevention Coalition. She was instrumental in securing the funds for the equipment and supplies for the Fluoride testing of the children seen in our Winter Park office.
When not seeing patients, Julie can be found managing hunting camps, caring for horses and whitewater rafting. She is busy planning her wedding that will be held in the Winter Park area in August 2009. Congratulations!!
